LANDALUZ, the Andalusian Food Business Association, is the reference entity in the Andalusian agri-food sector, representing almost 70% of the total sector turnover in the region, which highlights the specific weight it has as an agro-industrial business association.

We contribute to the development of the Andalusian agri-food sector by providing an extensive portfolio of actions and services.

It covers fields such as internationalization, commercialization through distribution channels, promotion of associations, mergers and alliances, diversification, digitalization and constant innovation in products and their formats, sustainability and responsibility of companies and continuous investment in technology. It also provides greater attention to the changing habits of consumers.

The main role being played by LANDALUZ in the sector is to encourage agri-food companies to open up to national and international markets as potential places to increase their sales. Thus, the Andalusian agri-food industry produces a wide variety of products, with their own characteristics depending on the specific cultural, social and environmental circumstances.

These characteristics give our products a great notoriety, bringing to the world the benefits of our Mediterranean diet. They also make our products great with high quality standards provided by characteristics such as its origin, beneficial properties for health, traditional and natural methods of elaboration, or respect for the environment in its production.

Beyond its functions representing the sector before the institutions, LANDALUZ contributes to the development of the Andalusian agrifood sector by providing an extensive portfolio of actions that covers different areas of promotional support.

The Board of Directors is composed of a President, and thirteen members representing associated companies, including three vice presidents, a treasurer and a secretary.

For the Board of Directors member elections, the main purpose is to include member companies with different sizes, food sector, legal structure, and market strategies to collect extensive information about needs and concerns of all companies involved in the project.

Beyond its functions representing the sector before the institutions, LANDALUZ contributes to the development of the Andalusian agrifood sector by providing an extensive portfolio of actions that covers different areas of promotional support.

The body to which the operation and development of the association’s activities are entrusted is the General Secretariat, whose functions are to execute and develop the work under the direction of the Board of Directors.

The different departments that make up the project depend on the General Secretariat, whose structure follows the model of any private company with the sole intention of becoming one more extension of the companies that comprise it.
